A San Francisco institution, Flour+Water's 2022 renovation was led by Lundberg Design.

"In conceiving the new interiors for Flour + Water we wanted to connect the architecture to the qualities of the food and the story of the restaurant. Thomas and Ryan use timeless ingredients and techniques, but in ways unique to them, to the specific environments from which they source their food, and even to that specific day or month. We honor this Flour + Water craftsmanship with a simple palette of classic materials (plaster, marble, walnut, and steel) used in uncommon ways that highlight textures, the hands of their makers, and how they age over time."

Flour+Water holds special meaning for Fyrn as our stools were the only design feature retained from the original space through the 2022 renovation.

Stanyan Bar Stool in Black Walnut were first installed in 2019, alongside Oxidized Oak Mariposa Chairs. 

A testament to Fyrn's durability, longevity, and comfort, in 2022, the Oxidized Oak chairs were repurposed for a new Flour+Water Group Pizzeria, and additional Black Walnut Mariposa Chairs were specified to complete the Lundberg team's vision.
